Tired,Happy,Sad

Tired because the Handmade Market as usual was massive and wonderful. Happy because thanks to the lovely people who came to see me with their Christmas wish lists I can now look forward to a wonderful relaxing Christmas with my entire family!!!. Sad because it's all over....until March 2010!

A massive thanks to Julie and the entire Handmade Market team for giving me a fantastic place to showcase my goodies!

I need to now get back to work, I reallllllllllllly have so much to do!!! becuase there is no rest for the wicked, I'm booked in for markets every weekend until the end of the year inc Saturdays in December at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston!! Ahhh will I have enough stock??

I have to do some major work on my little boys line, becuase I'ts nearly all gone!

With only 1 week to go until the next Handmade market I'm super busy getting ready!!! I have 2 new dress designs I'm really excited about, hopefully they sell!

Happy Hair Bands

This is my new thing... I can't cope with hair around my face so I'm a huge hair band fan, but so many of them hurt...is my head too big?, these are super bendy so a standard one fits my 4yr old and me, so we can share them bonus!

Christmas stockings in production!

I know it's only September and any moment now we will be seeing Christmas decorations all over the shops....I've started work on my Christmas stockings. These are a fantastic size at 43cm in length, perfect for pencils, textas, and perhaps candy cane or two...

I'm not sure how much to charge for them??? $15 or $20??? any thoughts anyone??

Back to work!

I have recovered from the Handmade Market!! Now it's back to work.

These tunic's are so comfortable and will fit for several seasons, great through winter with a top and cute tights. They are great value for only $45 and were a massive hit at Handmade!

Handmade success!!

Wow wow wow, the Handmade Market was the most fantastic success!, Soo many amazing stall holders the Yarralumla Woolshed looked fantastic.

On a personal level, I had a wonderful time, I met so many lovely people some beautiful babies and children! ohh and the odd dad if they dared to enter the stall (it was packed out all day).

The adrenalin didn't stop until 3.30 this morning - I simply couldn't get to sleep, so I'm exhausted but also really excited and inspired. I thought I'd put up a couple of photo's of my stall and hope to be a bit more articulate tomorrow.

Handmade Market tonight!!!

I'm so excited I can't sleep!! I've been up since 4 am...

Sooo tonight!! Yarralumla Woolshed is the place to be!! 6-9pm and then tomorrow 10 - 4pm.

There are too many good reasons to check out this market, here are a few...

Amazing handmade goodies, far to many to mention but you can have a sneak peak on the retailers page on the website http://www.handmademarket.com.au/

Beer on tap! yes and wine and lots of yummy yummy food!

Stacks more room for the stall holders and customers to move around in.

Plenty of parking and really really central, just off the parkway.

The weather is going to be fantastic, so wish me luck!

Ohh the sneezing!!

1 day out from spring and the sneezing has started!! but why did it have to start at 5am this morning????? Anyway it has given me an extra 2 hours today so here I am! I love this dress the pink is so gentle and fresh.

I'm gearing up for the Handmade market at the Yarrlumla Woolshed and this is one of the photo's I took whilst I was out there planning my new look amazing stall!

Why oh why???

My babies are all grown up so neither of them got to sleep on the super sweet cot linen I'm doing now. This is one of my favs because I love Japanese fabric and it looks so fresh!

New Skirt for Ruby

I made this for Ruby to wear to a birthday party over the weekend, I loved how it turned out so I have made 2 more....and then I ran out of fabric!

Yarralumla Woolshed

This is Ruby at the Yarralumla Woolshed wearing one of my samples, she begged and begged to wear it!!. Hmmmm I'm still not sure about it I think it needs more work.... but I took some great shots and had to post them..

So cute I had to buy it!!

Ok so my Ruby is way too old for this super sweet pinni (size 6 months) but I had to buy it anyway...

They also do amazing jumper and cardigans for little boys. Yes cute stuff for boys!!!

Reallllly cold at the markets today!!!!

Brrrrrrrr today was really cold !!! Still people did brave the cold and come on out to the Bus Depot Markets. I'm looking forward to a nice hot bath!!!

This a totally awesome site featuring realllly clever people who come together 4 times a year at the unbelievable Handmade Market. Held in Canberra this is the market to go to for gift shopping....thinking Christmas and spoiling yourself!

The Handmade market also raises money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND)
